First Stump Grinding Job

It wasn't too long in the Spring of 2019 when someone called in response to my Craig's List ad to have a stump ground.

While I had been around chainsaws all my life I really had firsthand experience with stump grinding.  Nevertheless rented a Toro 13HP Stump Grinder from Home Depot and took on the job.  I quickly learned the machine I rented was not suitable for the job at hand.  Job ended up taking hours and I think used my chainsaw to cut out a lot of the stump (NOT good for a chainsaw).  Nevertheless it was a good initial stump grinding experience

As you can see, the stump was rather large and I resorted to using a chainsaw to cull away a lot of it

The rented 13HP Stump Grinder was no match for this large stump.

Stump grinding makes a lot of grindings/mess.  We always make it an option to remove grindings.

We also offer to bring in topsoil when doing jobs.
